Sika Primer 3N 1L For Sikaflex Sealants

Sika Primer-3 N is a solvent-based, one-part primer and adhesion promoter for porous substrates and metals. It is easy to apply, water repellent, isocyanate free and has a short flash-off time. Sika 3N Primer is ideal for use with concrete, masonry, wood, metal and plaster.

APPLICATION
Surface Preparation:
The key to good adhesion with Sikaflex sealants is surface preparation. Specifically, all surfaces must be dry and free of dirt, grease, form release agent, loose mortar, laitance and any foreign matter. If the joint contains old sealant, it must be removed and the substrate cleaned by mechanical means. Can be used on damp substrates with maximum substrate moisture content of 8%.
Placement:
Apply primer at minimum substrate temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius and rising. Surface must be frost-free. Drying time will be minimum 30 minutes, maximum 8 hours.
Reseal container tightly after use. Discard any primer that has gelled, become cloudy or separated. Important: Do not apply at temperatures below 10 or above 30 degrees Celsius.
Storage:
Store in sealed container in a cool dry place for up to 12 months.
