Spring Hook 6.0mm 316 Stainless Steel fitting is often described as a carabiner (wrongly). This fitting links items together. The geometry of the fitting makes for good strength. It links chain and wire rope to some sort of device or anchor point. The round open body providing a rustic or industrial appearance for that timeless look. This fitting does not have an Eye to secure it to a line – so like the shackle or quicklink its removable. The advantage of a Spring Hook over a Shackle is that they can be removed 1 handed. The clipped tab securely closes the fitting. These fasteners are secure once installed. Note that these fittings are NOT stamped with a rating for lifting purposes, however the estimated Break Load (BL) is 272.0kg
