The complete Bolster is powder coated and the cutting edge is accurately ground

Cutting edge is hardened 52 - 58 HRC with the striking end maintained under 42 HRC
Each Bolster is permanently marked with safety warning message
Polypropylene hand guard protect the user's hands from misplaced hammer blows.
Single piece forging from high quality carbon steel, accurately hardened to BS 3066 specification
